In order to keep up with a population and maximize safety and security for the County, Iowa County hired Potter Lawson to design a new state-of-the-art Law Enforcement Center (LEC).  Currently under construction the the 75,000SF LEC will house the Sheriff’s Department, Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Jail, and as well as several community meeting spaces that will be open to the public.  The design process focused on safety, security, staffing and operational efficiency, integrated technology as well as thoughtful planned future expansion.
